 This phrase is often recited by Muslims upon hearing about the death of someone or when attending a funeral as an expression of acceptance of Allah's will and acknowledgment of the temporary nature of life in this world.

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

"Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un." Translation in English: "Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return."
